SUAH Scholarship Guidelines
MISSION
The Step Up Aim High (SUAH) Scholarship specifically aims to support and empower brilliant and talented Louisiana high school seniors to pursue their collegiate or vocational dreams. By offering financial support, Step Up Aim High helps students overcome financial constraints and enables them to achieve their career goals. By investing in the future pursuits of young scholars, musicians and athletes, Step Up Aim High contributes significantly to building a brighter and more equitable future for Louisiana.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be Louisiana high school seniors who attend schools in Orleans, Jefferson, Plaquemines or St. Bernard parishes.

Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Must demonstrate outstanding academic, musical or athletic achievement in their respective schools and programs. Community involvement and financial need will also be considered.
Application Checklist

Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders.

Proof of enrollment or acceptance into an accredited institution.
Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by the SUAH Scholarship Committee.

Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Scholarship Terms

Funds are awarded directly to the student / family.

Scholarship awards are for tuition, books, or other education-related expenses.

Applicants will be notified of their application status via email.
