Leonard Kelly

Leonard Kelly is a multifaceted leader and educator, bringing a unique blend of talents, experiences, and passion to his Co-Founder position at the Step Up Aim nonprofit organization. He is an unadulterated go-getter and 

pioneers all organizational on-the-ground outreach, campaigns, and correspondence.

 

Born and raised in the heart of Central City New Orleans, Leonard attended Joseph S. Clark High School and Grambling State University where he quickly demonstrated a talent for identifying opportunities and turning them into successful ventures. His enterprising spirit, combined with a drive for innovation, has led to the creation of groundbreaking ideas and initiatives that have impacted his family, friends, and colleagues.

 

For the past 15 years, Leonard has worked as a Dean for Crescent Leadership Academy, Firstline Schools & EQA Schools serving grades 5-12. Mr. Kelly currently holds the same position at The NET Central City which he considers his second home due to the large number of underserved and overlooked students he assists.

 

Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Leonard is known for his dedication to youth development, community service and social causes. 

He is also deeply committed to creating programs that eliminate negative adopted behaviors among young people such as widespread drug use, sagging pants, and destructive music. Whether through volunteer work, philanthropic initiatives, or advocacy efforts, Leonard strives to create a better world for all.
