Board President
Amber Celestine is an educational leader, data strategist, and passionate advocate for student success. A proud native of New Orleans and a product of its public school system, Amber earned her Bachelor’s in History and Secondary Education from Nicholls State University, a Master’s in Adult Education and Technology from American Intercontinental University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to empowering underserved communities and improving educational outcomes.
Amber has taught students in grades 5 through 11, gaining a rich perspective on the diverse needs of learners at various stages of development. Currently serving as the Data, Enrollment, and Testing Coordinator at The NET Central City, she brings a wealth of experience that spans History Teacher, Special Education, and roles such as CTE Coordinator and Grade-Level Lead. Her work reflects a dedication to fostering academic growth, guiding students toward their full potential, and developing adequate support systems.
As a member of Step Up Aim High's Board President, Amber is dedicated to the organization’s mission of empowering youth through access to resources, guidance, and mentorship. Her leadership exemplifies a steadfast commitment to equity and community development, underscoring her belief in providing all students with the tools and opportunities to thrive.
