JONAS K. NASH, Esq

Jonas K. Nash, is an attorney, educator, and servant leader who continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others. A proud native of New Orleans and its public school system, Jonas began honing his servant leadership skills while attending Joseph S. Clark High School. Following high school, Jonas travelled to the state of Ohio for undergrad where he continued honing his servant leadership skills.  During this time, he became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Iota Psi Chapter at The Ohio State University.  Jonas earned his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, and obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

 

Jonas served as a passionate classroom teacher, teaching grades 3 through 12.  He also served as the Director of Community Relations for former New Orleans City Councilmember James Carter, Esq., and the first Program Manager of CeaseFire New Orleans – a violence prevention initiative aimed to reduce violent crime. Jonas has remained committed to service and servant leadership throughout all of his endeavors and continues to maintain an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others and promoting progressive change.
