SUAH  Scholarship Program

The Step Up Aim High nonprofit organization was birthed in 2018 and officially formulated in 2020 to provide scholarships to Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) for high school marching band seniors in the Greater New Orleans area who exhibited outstanding musical and academic achievement. Since our inception, we have successfully raised and awarded over $8,000 in scholarships to 8 students and their families. Watch one of our parental testimonials HERE.

The Step Up Aim High (SUAH) Scholarship Program has expanded and now specifically aims to support and empower brilliant and talented Louisiana high school scholars, musicians and athletes as they pursue their collegiate or vocational dreams. By offering financial support, Step Up Aim High helps students overcome financial constraints and enables them to achieve their career goals and create a more equitable future for Louisiana.​​
